I could hardly breath inside the room we'd rent when the smoke replaced the oxygen my lungs turned black iran out for the corridor to catch my breath and to linger there until the smoke had left the room my friends where gone i found it hard to grasp the fact that a bus and a boat and a train could cover such a distance in only one day one day one day one day one day is all it takes i thought as i crved our names real deep into the window frame stating this will never fade out prague will stay the same town always cause nothing matters when you're young and you're drunk and you're 300 miles from the place that you come from noone's here just to be gone the narrow streets were leading me in the pitch black night they really should consider streetlights oh the lack of streetlights was in fact our only excuse for slipping straight into a place where the ladies undress right in front of you right in font of you right in front of you but nothing matters when you're young and you're drunk and you're 300 miles from the place that you come from noone's here just to be gone i got so tired living in a constant drunken blur what's the point doing a million things when nothing really matters and now i know i never wanted to go back there it wasa ll a bad excuse of escaping anywhere this state of mind means repeating selected episodes of old times the good times memories outshine the everyday life
